Some Babies R Us stores closing
I just read they are closing the Westbury and Massapequa stores. I guess Buy Buy Baby is the only option now for Nassau moms.

Even Suffolk, Commack was my go to. It's very sad what's going on. There is nothing like it, walking into a store that big filled with Toys, walking up and down the isle letting your kids pick out something & seeing their excitement

Some Babies R Us stores closing
I can't stand toys r us but I am sad the sayville babies r us is closing. It is one of the only dedicated BRU stores and it was so much better than the combo stores. Thankfully I don't have babies anymore so I won't really miss it.

I know a lot of people complained about them, but I never had a problem there and I'm disappointed they are closing. I agree that it's so fun for the kids to go look at all the toys. Target just isn't the same. Bummer

Wait are Babies R Us or Toys R Us's closing?
I see everyone talking about the kids running down aisles for Toys, but the Babies R Us's I know are just baby things.
What am I missing?
Are any staying open?

Only 4 stores are closing. Commack and sayville are the two in Suffolk. Sayville may be they only BRU of the four. Im guessing most are TRU.

AH. The Toys R Us in Holbrook in the Sun Vet Mall has a BRU in it I think. It's a small BRU though

Commack is TRU & BRU
This is the one I’m most upset about. I love this one.

I liked the BRU in Massapequa because I hated the BBB in Garden City, so that’s a shame.

I liked to run into that bru iin Massapequa for quick things while we were in that shopping center so I will miss it. And sometimes I’d find cute outfits there.

I know in Commack the liquidation sales will begin feb 7. But the store won’t close until mid-March so the deep discounts will happen later when only junk is left

i literally have no idea how to walk thru that store.... i always end up walking down the same few aisles.... its ******* labyrinth in there
