Malta?
Has anyone been to Malta? We are thinking of going in June. Looking for recommendations, tips, etc.

Re: Malta?
I went 13 years ago as a stop on my honeymoon Mediterranean cruise. We stopped at a glass making place which was so interesting and they made incredible pieces. I still have some on display today. The country is known for their bright colored front doors. We were there on the country's Independence Day so it was quiet. It was just a day trip but it was a pretty country. Quiet, very dessert-like with lots of cacti. Enjoy!

Malta?
I went about 5 years ago. It was OK, but i would not go back. It's small and not much to do. I think we saw everything in 1 or 1.5 days. I was hoping for nice beaches, but they were all man-made and packed (at least where we went). I was totally ready to leave at the end. We stayed at the Radisson Blu.

Thanks for this. We are trying to find a place in Europe with nice beaches and a little bit of history. We've already done all the obvious places (Greek Islands, Canary Islands, St. Tropez, etc.)

Have you considered Portugal/Spain? Beautiful beaches, lots to see/explore.

Re: Malta?
We’ve already done Portugal and Spain. Love them both but want to explore somewhere new.
We are now thinking a few days in Paris and a few days in st tropez.

Ooh that sounds amazing! Update us on where you end up picking! I’m trying to come up with something for my ten year anniversary this year.

Re: Malta?
I will absolutely post an update.
We are hoping to have everything figured out by the end of the weekend.
We are traveling with another couple and we each have $1,000 in Delta credits that we have to use. We are looking at the first two weeks of June.
It's just hard to find something that ticks off all the boxes AND we haven't all been already.
