Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
Anyone that is a huge fan of this (me, me me!!!) Did you see that they just released Shape Tape Foundation??????
I ordered already, I had to. If its anything like the concealer, I'm already in love!
They have it in Matte and Hydrating

There are so many shades...what is your skin color and what shade did you choose? I have fair skin in the winter - I wear a laura mercier tinted moisturizer in nude but not sure what shade concealer to buy.

It depends. Some people like their concealer to be a shade or 2 lighter than their skin/foundation to lighten up dark circles, etc.
I'd say go to the store and look at the testers and I am sure they can swatch you too

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
Mine came today. I just tried it. Not sure I like it. It’s kinda thin and think it may be too matte for my skin. I will try in morning with moisturizer and primer and see if that makes the difference.
Update: It is ok. Is it my favorite foundation, no. Would i buy it again? Probably not. Oh well.

Foundation is so hard. Stuff I thought I would love i hated, and stuff I was on the fence about has turned out to be some of my favorites.
Also, I am still searching for that holy grail foundation. I have yet to be bowled over by any- even the ones that I like.
I can't tell you how many I have tried and returned to Ulta. I am probably on some kind of list with them!

Foundation is SOOOO personal. What I love and rave about will be horrible on you and vice versa.
That is why reviews do me no good. I have to try it myself. Everyone's skin is just soooo unique.

They have a hydrating formula too. I ordered both to see how I like them. I usually love matte foundations so I'm hoping I'll like it. I have high expectations since I love the concealer so much.

I’ve been wearing the matte formula for 2 days and I really like it. It’s great coverage and it wears all day. I use a damp beauty blender to apply it. I haven’t tried the hydrating formula yet but I’m going to tomorrow.

I just wanted to say the hydrating formula is definitely better. I’ve decided I won’t buy either again though. I hate the applicator. If I’m paying almost $40 for a foundation I want to be able to use every ounce of it and they design of the bottle and applicator won’t let you do that. I’ll be sticking with my Estée Lauder and too faced foundations.

This one is much lighter and more liquidy. You have to be careful because it pours out fast from the bottle. When i first put it on I was like this is not going to work for me- it felt like water. But it goes on to a beautiful coverage, is buildable and has a nice satin finish.
I also like that it has SPF which the original does not

I got the tarte shape tape foundation yesterday and tried it today...the hydrating one
I don’t love it enough to keep it sadly
I feel like it set into every line in my face that I didn’t know was even there! And i used a primer and a beauty blender to apply
Normally I use a primer and some Laura Mercier translucent powder so maybe I am just not used to actual foundation but I def do not like it

I went to Ulta. had the rep apply and if anything it made me look worse!
I ended up with IT concealer and their eye cream under.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
I purchased the hydrating one and it looks great. It’s a perfect color match for me, and doesn’t settle in my lines. I just hate the applicator.
