Celluite
OMG the celluite on my thighs is getting out of control.
Is there anything that works? I know you can never fully get rid of it but I mean to improve it's appearance?
I have seen those massager things, creams, etc. Does exercise even work?
I need to do something to at least tighten it up a bit. My thighs are looking HORRIFIC

Re: Celluite
I use to have a lot of cellulite on my thighs and back of legs. I started working out a lot and using weights and lots of water and it has reduced its appearance by 90%. They say massage works as well but that could be expensive.

Thank you. It's good to hear that the exercising actually helps. I wasn't sure if it would. When you say you started using weights- do you mean weights for your leg workouts? What do you do?

I was just doing cardio and noticed no change. I started lifting weights and going heavy on leg day with lots of squats and lunges and in 1 year I have seen a huge difference. I now feel comfortable in shorts and swimwear.

Ok thanks. Yeah I have to get on a bandwagon with the legs. I've been sooooo lazy and now my thighs are paying the price. Awful.

Re: Celluite
My thighs are terrible too with the cellulite. I agree with PP. When I was working out, I did a lot of lunges with light weights...like lunging across the room and back several times carrying 5 or 10 lb weights in both hands. Squats with weights. Legs presses using ankle weights. I noticed a huge improvement in the reduction of cellulite within less than 6 months. Unfortunately, since having my DD I stopped working out altogether and it all came back

OMG I just noticed that!
Looks like I've been battling the cottage cheese since 2011!
Acutally I remember being like 19 years old and as skinny as a rail and noticing a dimple on my thigh in a dressing room when trying on shorts.
So it does NOT discriminate!

Re: Celluite
I feel like being well hydrated and eating less salt helps with the appearance of cellulite. And a tan goes a long way lol
My trainer said a lot of her clients swear by the body rollers I may grab a cheap one at target or something. Doesn’t hurt to try!

Yes I don't think it's helping that I am white as a ghost right now. It was a frightening site! I will do a spray tan or self tanner before I go away. I got these hand held massagers thingys that are supposed to help with circulation. I tried using them last night and this morning. Not a fan of the sensation to be honest, but if it helps at all, I'll stick with it.

Re: Celluite
I have this circle thing that looks like a brush but it’s rubbery that I use on my thigh in circles in the shower and I swear by it. I got it at the body works, and I keep meaning to stock up on them while they still have them. And a tan goes a long way, this pale stuff is for the birds and I’m basically always pale, but now that I’m getting older it’s a lot worse

I got one on amazon. Hang on I will link it and see if it's the same
This is the one i got. It just came. Been using it a few days- not a fan of the sensation- it kind of makes me feel oddly itchy afterwards. But if it works at all, I'll keep it up!
