exterminator for crickets?

Ugh - we have those disgusting cave/camel crickets in our basement.

We have tried every kind of spray to get rid of them. I thought it worked since we didn't see any over the winter, but I guess with the change of seasons, they're back.

It's time to call in the big guns. Can anyone recommend an exterminator in or around the Islip area?

Ugh! We get those too. No advise on the exterminator, but we use the glue traps and they work pretty well.

We use the Ortho Home Defense Max spray every spring and throughout the summer/fall - we spray inside the basement and around the foundation outside, in every crack we can find. It works pretty well in keeping them at bay!

we've been using the glue traps but I am completely disgusted by them every time I walk in the basement. I swear, every time I open the basement door, one of those disgusting critters is hopping around on the floor.



I will try the ortho home defense max in the meantime.

I don't think an exterminator can do anything for them. Everyone just recommends the glue traps.

We use terminix for 2 years now. Originally for ants. Since having them, I haven’t seen the mutant crickets.

We used to have them all the time. At one point, The crickets and I had an understanding. Don’t jump at me and I won’t smash you with a sneaker.

I've never used an exterminator for crickets specifically, but we used Mosquito Joe last summer for mosquitos, and didn't have one cricket last fall (when it usually gets really bad for us). We're using them again this year.
