Anyone count macros that can help?
I am trying to count my macros and was wondering if anyone could tell me if numbers seem right. I am 5’4 around 140 lbs and would like to lose weight. I tried entering into a few different websites and got so many different numbers. I am using 40% carbs (150g) 35% protein (132g) and 25% fat (41g). This is out of a 1500 calorie diet. Does that seem appropriate if I want to lose weight? I spin around 3x a week with a light weight arm workout. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA!

I calculated yours based on 35 years old and light activity.
Total calories (15% cut): 1536 Protein (.8x body weight): 112g Fat (.35x body weight): 49g Carb: 162g
When starting out, I’d aim to meet protein everyday and then hit calories. The distribution between fats/carbs is not as important. For proper hormone activity, keep fats no lower than 42g.
If you have questions let me know. I’m not an expert by any means, but I follow the FB group IIFYM (women), which has provided me with so much knowledge.
Best of luck!

Re: Anyone count macros that can help?
Thank you so much for your input! I actually belong to the IIFYM FB page but I will look for the women's page. I work from home so beside getting my kids off to school I am pretty sedentary for the work day.
My goal weight is 130 (125 would be amazing but I haven't been that weight since before my 3 kids!) I really do appreciate the feedback. It is a big adjustment from typical dieting where I was always starving. I feel like I don't stop eating with this method so it takes getting used to!

Lightly active takes into account the fact that you workout 1-3 times a week. Id start with the numbers I gave you and see how you progress after 2-3 weeks.
Increasing your NEAT will also be helpful. I have a Garmin which buzzes after an hour of inactivity. This usually just means I walk around my house for 2-3 minutes just to get in a few steps.
You really do not need to starve yourself to see result.
