Has any one had issues with their foundation? Specifically if you live on the south shore near the water? Did you fix it? Sell? We aren't sure exactly what is going on. We are in a high ranch and had the downstairs gutted and redone, new carpet, dry wall, etc. Contractor said foundation has some cracks and house may not be settling right. But it seems like it's impossible to tell if it will sink further or stay the way it is. Right now you wouldn't know that anyone is or could be wrong with house, but it may not be that way in 20 years.
