Cedar closet in the attic?
The house I just bought has a really nice cedar closet built in the attic - which seems kind of strange to me. Seems like the heat in the attic would be damaging to the clothes that would be stored in a cedar closet. Anyone know if I’m right or if it’s fine to store things in there all summer?

I store clothes in my attic. In a Rubbermaid container! And they are fine. Heat shouldn't affect clothing unless it's like fur or something.

Dh lined our attic in cedar but most of what we store in there is in plastic. Never had an issue.

I don't know about cedar, but I store my clothes in suitcases in the attic and they are fine!

Just don't be an idiot like me and store your Christmas candles in the box of Christmas decorations in the attic. Yeah, that wasn't pretty come the heat of July.

I'll try to remember not to put any candles up there! But I would totally do that, not thinking ahead to the summer when it's 10 degrees out in January!
And thank everyone. I guess I'll store my winter clothes up there - yay!
