Cleaning lady $
How much would you pay a cleaning lady who comes 4 hours every 2 weeks for a very small 2BR/1 bath?

Is she doing a really really deep clean? 4 hours is a long time for a house that size. I’d probably expect to pay closer to $60

She isn’t moving furniture and stuff around to dust like I would each time but doing cleaning that i do not do anymore - tiles, tub, mopping, dusting, vacuuming (if i remind her she dusts ceiling fan, blinds). I do value her and pay her $60 now but am wondering if I should give her a “raise”. It may be 3.5 hours sometimes cause she works fast. She quoted the price years ago.
It is a small place though me and my daughters and a dog in a small 2 bd

I pay $80 for a very small 3 BR cape. It usually takes 3 women an hour and a half. They surface clean.

Since she has been with you a while and you have trust and reliability a small raise I’m sure would be appreciated and shows that you value her work. I read so many FB posts about people looking for a good/reliable cleaning lady that make the one you have happy so you don’t have to look for another.

I pay $130 every other week. I have a team of 4-5 women it takes them an hour to clean my house. 3000 sq ft for reference.

Honestly, I think the price you’re paying is fair for the size of the house and the things she doesn’t do in a regular basis.
