Best Site for Rental Cars?
I need a rental car for August (Florida). Any suggestions on where or how I could get a good deal. It seems SO expensive right now.

Best Site for Rental Cars?
I was just looking at this earlier today. I need a rental for August in FL too! I was going to use my points but wanted to check out the actual cost and compare. If I use my Citi Thank You points, a minivan for the week was a little under $400. When I looked at other sites and even discounts through work it was almost double that amount.

I just looked at Priceline for a minivan and it was $605 which is still higher than my Citi Rewards.

My parents use auto slash...they often pay so little that it's cheaper to rent than to bring their own car to Florida for the months they are there.

We just actually looked on priceline for Florida in Sept and we thought the prices looked pretty cheap.

I usually use Costco or BJs. Sometimes Dollar has good City Specials.

Yes I usually book my rental car through Chase Rewards and they were cheaper than what I was getting on quotes through even BJ member discounts. I just ended up booking through Chase because even though we didn't have enough points to cover the rental, the overall cost was cheaper.
