Blacktop driveway
Can anyone share the approx cost to blacktop a driveway. I’m closing soon, and the house has a gravel/dirt driveway, and I want to get asphalt done right away.
ETA: Please share any companies you recommend - Suffolk Cty

When we bought, the driveway could only fit one car width wise. One of the first things we did was expand it wider so that two cars could fit across. Total price (including all materials) to rip up old driveway, widen the foundation, lay the blacktop and install an S-shaped paver walkway was $5k so I think your job would be significantly cheaper if just laying blacktop down and not changing anything else. We used Pellegrino Paving.

we used torres. we paid 6-8k for the driveway with a cambridge paver border, walkway, and front steps (went over the current steps). I absolutely love how it came out, but it took FOREVER because he overbooks himself. His english isn't the best, and he works solely off of texting which was frustrating too. At the end of the day, I'm happy with it

Blacktop driveway
I paid 5k for a pretty large driveway. Only the blacktop though. I already had a belgian block border and apron. I used Steve Stanley. Very happy.
