Help!
I had a baby boy in Jan who is now almost 5 months old. I have an older son who is almost 3 who by 3 months was sleeping through the night. Now I know all babies are different but my little one is such a bad sleeper at night. He goes down at night fine around 8:30 and sleeps great till 12:30-1. Once he gets up for the first time it's a disaster from there. He just moves and is fussy and won't settle down-If I hold him he is fine and will pass right out. The minute I put him down he's up moving and squirming around in his crib. He has a lot of gas issues and I think that is why he wakes up a lot at night. I do give him gas drops before he goes to bed. I also do bicycles on him before he goes to bed and a ton of gas comes out. He is on Allumentium formula we changed formula when he was 2 months old. Any tricks to get him to SLEEP! Thanks!

Help!
White noise machine, dark curtains, maybe he is hungry at that time? I actually think waking up at that time for a 5 month old is pretty normal. Usually a bottle and they can sometimes go back to sleep. My kids were never the best sleepers so I am definitely not an expert. Lol

Yes we have a white noise We have been feeding him but sometimes he doesn't even want a bottle so I know hes not waking cause he's hungry! Getting up 5x after 12:30am seems a little excessive to me LOL I think it's gas pains but I do give him the gas drops before bed. I think he just will be my bad sleeper. My older one is a good sleeper so I can't have 2 good sleepers LOL

Help!
Have you tried a magic sleep suit? If the baby used to be swaddled and now he is squirming around at night this could help. You can also try to dream feed him at midnight to see if that helps him stay asleep longer.

He never liked to be swaddled. I tried to dream feed him one night and still was up a lot. I called my doctor today and she told me to try Gerber Soothe drops that may help his gas issues.

Re: Help!
Could he be teething?
It’s possible to get them that early
Also this could just be the 4 month sleep regression that’s stretching out a little longer
