nicest hotel for adults within driving distance from Ft. Lauderdale airport
My husband and I are going away without kids for my 40th. The airfare seems cheaper flying into Ft. Lauderdale.
What is the nicest hotel you can think of?
Think adults only pool, beach bar, blue water, amazing restaurants.

We stayed at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville . About 10 min form Ft Lauderdale airport.
Gorgeous and brand new. Very luxurious hotel.
Not adults only but they do have an adults only roof top pool.
You cam also drive to Miami... about 45 min...if you want that. You have a ton more hotel options there

Gorgeous and brand new. Very luxurious hotel.
Not adults only but they do have an adults only roof top pool.

Is there a bar near rooftop pool?
And was the beach nice there?

Yes! License to Chill bar is up near that pool.
The beach is very nice! I prefer gulf coast beaches, but the water is so blue and warm and the beach was nice!
Rooms are stunning. Get an ocean front...worth it! Amazing views from your balcony

Yes, the boardwalk is right outside the back of the hotel. You cross over it to go to the beach.
And yes, we found a great taco place to eat there and a place for breakfast that was a lot cheaper than the hotel restaurant.
I'm sure there are other places too but we didn't go too far since we weren't there long and had our DD with us.
You can also Uber around if you want to go further.

We probably Won’t be on a plane ride away without the kids for five more years from now. I just want to make sure I’m picking a good place. And a place with enough to do. But if the boardwalk is there it seems like there will be a variety of food and places to get drinks.

We stayed at the W in Fort Lauderdale and it was great. There were some kids but very few.

Courtyard Marriott Beach Resort (there are two courtyards, the pricier one is brand new and amazing).

We stayed at the W in Fort Lauderdale and it was great. There were some kids but very few.
The W was really nice. We just stayed there for an overnight before departing on our cruise. About 15 minutes from the airport / to the cruise terminal.
Hotel has a really cool vibe.
I would definitely go back, but might try the Westin next time.

Loved the taco place. It was nice eating outside and looking at the beach/water.
