Bermuda vs Miami

DH and I are trying to get away for 3 days before the summer is over. My only requirements is that I want to be beachfront and relax with a drink and not feel the need to sightsee (most of our other vacations have been like that)

I think Miami is most cost effective but I know little about the best areas in each place. Any recommendations, hotels, prime locations, would be appreciated! I feel like I've read a ton of reviews but still don't have a great idea as to where to choose.

I’ve never been to Bermuda, but I loved Miami when I went there ten+ years ago. I don’t remember a ton about it because it was a long time ago, but I had a good time. I went for a music festival (WMC/Ultra).

The food was very good,too. I stayed on Collins in South Beach. I have no idea what the hotel’s name is now. I just know that it was hostel like.

One thing to consider is that it is hurricane season. You may have better luck with Miami than Bermuda.

We just went back to Bermuda (our 11th time)

Elbow beach is a great place. You can just walk down tot he beach.

it's less than a 2 hour flight and going through customs is a breeze.
