Tackling BBB & registering. Have a few
Hey ladies. Coming here bc I know many of you have had kids recently or are having kids & registered already.
Car seat recommendations.- pros and cons of what you have?
Stroller? Did you go with a car seat- stroller system?
Bassinet? Worth it? I heard from some that their kids hated sleeping in one. What did you use for first few weeks etc.
TIA for any help and suggestions.

Tackling BBB & registering. Have a few
Car seat recommendations.- We did the graco infant seat and then the graco 4ever convertible. Love both.
Stroller? We had a snap and go for the graco infant seat which was like $99. Kept it in my trunk at all times because it was perfect to snap the car seat into for the mall, grocery shopping, etc. We also have the baby jogger city select which i am obsessed with.
Bassinet? We had the halo bassinest and sold it pretty much immediately. I swore by the rock and play, which is alot cheaper than a bassinet and newborns tend to sleep way better in it.

Tackling BBB & registering. Have a few
Car seat- Chicco key fit for infant and chicco next fit for big kid (switched at 1) Stroller- I have a Maclaren umbrella (double) and I can’t really recommend a single stroller since I have twins but I definitely recommend a snap and go!
I had grace loungers they slept in until 6 months. They lay flat which I love or can elevate with reflux. Best $70 ever. I get every one them!

Re: Tackling BBB & registering. Have a few
Another chicco key fit 30 user here. I got the whole car seat system so our car seat snapped in when DD was little and she still uses the stroller now. We switched her to the Graco 4ever sear when she got bigger. I liked the chicco system but it’s not the worlds greatest stroller or anything. I wish I had gotten the snap and go as well. I also have the summer infant 3D lite or something like that and really like it. Nice lightweight stroller.
I loved the bassinet. DD slept in it until she was like 4/5 months then we switched to the crib. She was an excellent sleeper though, still is thank God lol!!
Congrats to you and a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Tackling BBB & registering. Have a few
Car Seat - We went with the Britax B-Safe infant seat. It's worked well through 2 kids, but it's a little heavier than other seats we looked at, so maybe a lighter seat/carrier would have been better.
We got the BOB Motion stroller, which works with the car seat. We liked that the stroller had air tires, so it goes over grass easily. It's held up well, and we like it.
For our first, we borrowed a bassinet from my husband's cousin. For our second, we used the pack n play bassinet insert. We only used the bassinet for the first few weeks, so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a bassinet. The bassinets made a nervous. My kids moved around some even at a young age, so I was always nervous with them in the bassinet. I preferred putting them in the large pack n play once I could bend down, and I think it made the transition to the crib easier.

I found the bassinet to be a waste. Def get a Rock and play sleeper though- I used that with both my kids the first few weeks and it was a lifesaver...
