Facebook question
If I change my friend's status from good friend to restricted, and I post a status with a photo that can only be seen by friends...from what I understand, she will not be be able to view it...
If a month from now I change her status back to good friend, will she be able to look back at my old posts and view the one she had been restricted from seeing?

Yes - she will be able to scroll thru and see the old stuff if you change her status. However, when you post there is an option that says “show to friends except” and you can specify her name and she’ll never be able to see it - even if she’s a good friend or restricted.

If you chose to restrict the post by using the "Friends Except so and so" drop then, then she won't see the status OR the pictures.

But, if someone she knows makes a comment on the photo, can she see the photos via their comment somehow? LOL Just looking for FB loopholes! LOL
fyi it's friends that don't speak to each other and trying to avoid hurt and angry feelings

If your post is set to exclude her from seeing it, she won't see it at all on her feed even if someone she is friends with on FB comments on it

The key word is that her specific name needs to be put in the "exception" box. If she is just just on the restricted list, and a mutual friend is tagged, those WILL show up in her newsfeed. So do "friends except Susan Jones"...like someone else said

Honestly, if it's this much of an issue, I just wouldn't post the pic.
If she somehow finds out you blocked her from seeing the pic (like a mutual friend mentions something to her), won't the hurt feelings be even worse?

I know what you mean! I thought of not posting also! It would be obvious to my original friend why I left her photo out - so I would have to post all pics of event no pics of event at all... decisions decision lol

The picture is a group photo that I want to post - so I realized I am able to edit and cut the one friend out - and then restricting both sides so no one sees anything!! Done! Thanks all!!!!
