PBK Backpacks
What size for a 2.5 year old? 37 inches, 30 lbs.
I feel like the Pre-K will be so tiny and I want to be able to fit the PBK lunchbox. Will the small be gigantic on her?

Re: PBK Backpacks
We have the large size, but it's a bit large for the little ones to carry. I carry my 3yo's bag for her.
ETA: We send a lot in and I prefer to use one bag. Kids who have the small wind up with 2 bags, especially on Mondays and Fridays when sheets and blankets have to go in.

Re: PBK Backpacks
I hear they run small, so the small might work for her.

Re: PBK Backpacks
I'd go with the small. My DS was in K last year, had the large ,and def needed it due to all the stuff he carried.

Re: PBK Backpacks
The small was good for nursery and pre-K. Fit a ziplock with emergency change of clothes, folder, brown bag snack, and pbk soft lunch sack. We got thr large for K b/c we want to get it to last for a few years but I don’t think it’s necessary for such a young age.

I bought a large last year because the pattern my DS was on sale and only the large was available lol. He's going into Pre-k. For daycare last year, it was a good size because off all the stuff he carried. But he's too lazy to carry the bag himself.

Re: PBK Backpacks
Small is a good size, but folders get bent at the sides... and it is small.
With the last kid, I did large. She’s really short and small and it looks huge, but she can easily carry it.

Id say base it on your needs. How much do they need to carry? Do they need folders?
As others said small is good if its only a snack and change of clothes. If you require more then go large they can use it for K and even into 1st grade if they are taken care of.

Thanks guys. I got the small. She hasn’t tried it on yet but I think it’ll be fine.
Side note, pottery barn does the worst personalization I’ve ever seen. Etsy sellers do a better job from their garages. Her lunchbox is so bad DH wants to complain.

Re: PBK Backpacks
I would complain about the personalization. I’ve had lots of things by them personalized and they all have come out beautifully.
