DOE UFT Cigna, Aetna, Empire IVF Coverage?
I currently have GHI-cbp and am about to go into my 3rd ivf cycle. Nothing to show for it yet. I’m wondering if anyone has Cigna, Empire or Aetna and what their ivf coverage is like? Did you do the optional rider?

DOE UFT Cigna or Aetna IVF Coverage?
I think that its a hard question to answer because there are so many different plans under the same "big name" insurance companies. I'm a teacher and have Empire NYSHIP, which thankfully has great infertility coverage, but a friend also has Empire through her employer, and her coverage is completely different.

I have the same coverage and had 3 ivfs covered. That coverage is long used at this point as I'm on IVF 6. So I'm all out of pocket even for meds. I looked into the other plans offered by the DOE but when I did there were very high premiums and it didn't seem to make sense money wise. Some didn't offer infertility coverage at all. Message me if you want to talk and I'll let you know what I decided to do.

Could it be this Empire EPO plan. Looks like a lot of docs at Cornell take Empire Ny plan. Though I’m currently at Sher. How is their coverage. 100%? Or is there a coinsurance? How many cycles?

Hmm. It looks like 3,714 a month for a family plan. Thats a lot! But if you were doing back to back retrievals maybe it would be worth it.

I'm not sure of her exact plan -- she's not a teacher. I am but not in the DOE - here on Long Island.

DOE UFT Cigna, Aetna, Empire IVF Coverage?
Just so you know 3 cycles includes 3 fresh and 3 frozen transfers. Also, before you go for your last one I strongly suggest. Going to SIRM Kofinas or Braverman for a consult

Thanks!! And yea. Though I thought that was the case with GHI. I’ve done only retrievals but they have all been PGS abnormal. So we still had the 3 transfers. But we’re thinking that by switching to a diff insurance it’ll restart the coverage. And thanks for the clinic recs. We’re currently at SIRM.

Hi, I'm considering getting GHI-CBP for IVF coverage and wanted to know how much of the IVF cost did they cover? 75%? 100%?
