Jersey Shore’s Jenni “JWoww” Farley is a single woman. The reality star, 32, filed for divorce from Roger Mathews, Us Weekly can confirm. The pair met during Jersey Shore Opens a New Window. and were married in October 2015. They have two children, Meilani Alexandra, 3, and Greyson Valor, 2.
Farley cited “irreconcilable differences” on the papers filed on Wednesday, September 12, in Ocean County, New Jersey, App.com Opens a New Window. reports. Neither Farley nor Mathews have commented. “The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation,” her complaint read.
Farley and Mathews both appeared on multiple seasons of Jersey Shore, but he did not join her for season 1 or the current season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, staying home with their two children.

This makes me sad. I know they had issues but it seemed like they were working on things over the years. Stinks, 2 little ones.

They never really seemed "good" but I can't believe after having two kids together, they are getting divorced. and for it to be that bad but never mentioned or felt on the JS series or social media is a bit strange. I'm kinda feeling bad for her.

This is as shocking as telling me the sun will rise tomorrow.
I was more surprised when they got married, had two kids and even lasted this long.

I was more surprised when they got married, had two kids and even lasted this long.
Yeah, I think it's surprising that she never mentioned the problems on TV, but I'm not shocked at all. They never seemed like a couple that would make it.

The local news outlet reported that the MTV star is seeking joint custody and is asking for primary residential custody.
Mathews posted a video on Instagram, saying there was nothing salacious about the split.
“My wife filed for divorce, it’s true. I’m just gonna keep it simple. I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s–t, any juicy details,” he said. “She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … again, I’m not gonna get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.
“I’m not done fighting, I’m gonna win my wife back. I’m gonna win her affection back, I’m gonna win her love back. I have no intention of being a single dad. We’re in counseling so there is hope. It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.”
A rep for JWoww said “at this time we aren’t making any further comments.”

Yeah, I think it's surprising that she never mentioned the problems on TV, but I'm not shocked at all. They never seemed like a couple that would make it.
In one the shows, maybe their show together she always talked about not wanting to have sex. I always got the vibe she wasn’t that into him and he just seemed like her safe choice.

they were on david tutera's show a while back..she threw him some big birthday party I think...
in any case, I always thought he was too good for her. She seemed rather hard to put up with.
but I didnt watch Jersey Shore so i have no idea what they were like on there.

I was actually going to ask if she is coming out of the closet? I remember that one scene; where they went to the strip club......she looked like she enjoyed being there more than the guys did.
Or maybe he is too metrosexual for her? LOL
Either way, I am surprised to hear it.
Let's see if Snooki follows suit.....
