Navy skirt

What color tights and boots/booties/shoes would you wear with a navy skirt?

ETA: with a red or cream colored sweater

Navy is tough.
When I wear Navy, I try to not wear tights. Either I go bare legged with my beloved Sally Airbrush legs, or I wear a super sheer, high quality nude pantyhose that looks like bare skin.
Then you can do a nude pump. (Or a red pump!)

If you really want to do tights, I have this taupe color tight that would look good with navy- it's hard to come by that color though- I think I order it online.
But then that leaves what kind of shoe. With tights I'd do a bootie, maybe like a tan bootie with that?

I have a navy dress that I plan on wearing with chocolate colored tights and dark brown shoes.
I also have charcoal grey tights that I could wear, but then that requires a black shoe.
Have to try it all on.

I think black would be too stark and no way in hell would I wear navy tights.

I would wear charcoal tights with brown shoes.
This would be with the cream sweater.

Not sure with red.

None. That's why I don't wear my navy skirts in the winter...I'm too cold to go barelegged and no tight goes.
