TEEN MOM OG - Now With Bristol and Cheyenne
I'm actually loving this new season!!
I feel like Bristol was a great replacement for Farrah. It was like a swap for the two of those! I didn't think I was going to like her, and I still kinda don't, it's basically filling that hate-but-intrigued-relationship I had with Farrah.
I am not sure why Cheyenne is on. I am a HUGE FANATIC of the Challenge. I am so happy to see Cory being such a great dad. I wasn't a big fan of his but I am now. I like seeing co-parenting that actually works. That was always what I liked seeing with Maci and now this is even better. People who make these situations WORK.
I am so bored with Amber. Her baby daddy just rubs me the wrong way. I hate looking at him and I hate how he talks. The whole thing feels weird.
I can't believe Maci is still so OK with Ryan having access to Bentley. That is so respectable. I could have never done it. After his sham, drug fueled first wedding with Mackenzie -- I would have written him out of my sons life. Very strange.
Catelynn, I am also "repulsed" and upset with her. She always seemed to have it together and then she just broke the way a cookie crumbles. I feel so bad that Tyler has to pick up everything for her. He has as many traumas and scars as she does. They have been through it all. But it seems like Catelynn just wants a vacation. Not having to live life, just relaxing, hiking and watching movies and napping?!? Yet not going to her scheduled classes?!? Isn't that what we all want? I suffer from severe anxiety... severe my whole life... I have traumas... I like sleep... and now have bad depression... but I still wake up every day and focus on my day and get through it the best I can. I mean look at Dakota with his PTSD. Why does catelynn get like 4 months away from life? How is that helping her cope? I feel so so sorry for Tyler.
Sorry for this huge post. I am just so glad Teen Mom OG is back and hoping someone else wants to discuss!!!

I actually took this show off my DVR recently. I just think they should have ended it already instead of adding on more moms.
I also don't think it was a great idea for Catelynn and Tyler to have another baby when she leaves Tyler with all of the responsibilities to raise Nova. Now he is going to be stuck raising two kids on his own. I feel like if not for Teen Mom these two would have been over years ago.

I am still watching!! I had NO idea who Cheyenne was and I am actually liking Bristol Palin more than I thought I would.
For a time I was rooting for Amber and I thought she had things together but the last season or two she just lost me. I agree about her baby Daddy, he's a creeper. There is just something weird about him.
I still love Maci, she always seems to have things together and she is the most mature of them all.
Catelynn and Tyler. I have always loved them and always rooted for them. They both had such a sh!t upbringing and somehow survived, they made it through the adoption and I just always hoped for the best for them. But Catelynn is really on my nerves of late. I think she's gone past trying to help herself and instead, she's just being selfish. The idea behind working on your issues is so you can get back to your family and function and live life together. She keeps running away for her little solitary "vacations" and I think she's taking advantage of Tyler. So much falls on him and I don't think it's fair at all. I feel bad for him because you can see he is struggling too but Catelynn is so self involved that she doesn't even seem to notice.
I am looking forward to the new season and I am SOOOOOOO glad that Farrah is finally gone. I couldn't stand that selfish, beasty, rotten to the core wench. She is one of the most horrible, god awful human beings to ever walk this earth. Good riddance.

I went to the live reunion taping last year in NYC and it was so fun! I love this group. I have to catch up and I'll report back! I wasn't very excited about the new additions but maybe like you, I'll change my mind once I watch the episode!

I actually loved it. I too like Bristol more than I thought I would. She is somewhat 'pod like' but maybe she isn't used to the cameras and stuff yet.

I just wanted to comment on this, as someone who has had issues with their ex/child's father that are not unlike Maci and Ryan. You have no choice. If the other parent still makes effort the court will facilitate the other parent still having parental access. I stood in family court once and presented the facts of domestic violence in which my son had been in the same house as (not against me or him) and the judge said "i will issue the orders of protection but I will not suspend visitation". Sorry for the diatribe, but my own experience. Also Bentley has Jen and Larry too, which I think also makes Maci feel 'safer'

I liked it. I feel terribly for dakota -- he is suffering so much and bristol is so self-absorbed. i hope he gets the help he needs to cope with the PTSD and his anxiety.
catelynn looked better on the after show, hopefully tyler will get his chance to work on himself too

I loved it!! I am a huge Challenge fan and I was wondering why Corey didn't find out about the baby till 6 months after she was born.
I like Bristol and I was curious about her marriage to Dakota. I think she is a good fit.
I feel bad for Tyler especially when he said Cate was watching movies at night while he is home taking care of Nova. I was surprised she got pregnant so fast. I like Tylers mom, she doesn't hold back and Im sure she is concerned for her son.

Dakota seems really angry at Bristol.
How did Tyler not realize his sister was on drugs and check on that house earlier!? I cannot believe how trashed that place was, it was awful. Does she not realize how lucky she was to have a house? Why didn't those kids even have beds?!? I was so confused by that house....
I can't stand Ryan's parents anymore. How dare they talk to Bentley about private school. It's not his decision. It's Maci's decision... and also why is Ryan never filmed anymore??

Ryan and Mackenzie aren't being filmed anymore (but I heard that she was on this week) because they didn't like the way the show was portraying him.

Ryan and Mackenzie aren't being filmed anymore (but I heard that she was on this week) because they didn't like the way the show was portraying him.
It's actually because Maci refused to film if he did. She didn't want his spiraling life portrayed on TV for their son to watch or hear about through school.
MTV decided to stick with Maci, although his parents will still be on the show.

I'm enjoying this season.
Bristol- I like her. but do agree and feel bad for Dakota big time. he def didnt want the marriage to be over and seems to be trying hard to be civil.
Cheyenne- like her too and love seeing Cory be an awesome dad. that baby- Ryder  she is just precious! beautiful baby. Looks like her momma.
Amber bores me. always on the couch.
Maci- love her. always will.
Caitlynn- feel SO bad for Tyler. hoping they make it. they really truly have so many issues through the years. just surprised they lasted this long. but wish them the best.

I hate that they film and release 6 months behind. A half of a year is a long time and we get the scoop on things so quickly now due to the internet. I wish they would only stay like 3 months behind if that. I want to know what is currently happening... things from last spring feel too far in the past already for me...

Im finally all caught up and I am in the minority with Cheyenne. I think she is so immature for her age & spoiled. The other moms are so much more mature than she is. Realistically, you think it would be the opposite since many sacrificed their teens. She did not.
The only thing she talks about all the time is co-parenting, its her only story line. If I hear that word one more time from her, Im going to scream. LOL It's awesome she gets along great with Corey, but she isn't really co-parenting but more of playing "fake" family with him because she wants one so bad.
Bristol is kind of whiny and annoying too. Also the last episode Sarah Palin was in, she didn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed.

Holy cow that house that Tyler gave for his sister!! I don't understand why his mom could allow the kids to live in that house. If I gave someone a house I would be checking up on them constantly. What a disaster. Tyler seems done with everyone and Cait just looks at him with that side eye.
I feel that they are showing more of Christina and Gary because Amber is so boring. There really is no storyline with her and that new man. I do see her snap at him sometimes and you see the old Amber come out. I felt bad for Christina and Im glad that she is involved with Amber and watching the baby was so sweet of her.
The whole private school thing with Jen and Larry was boring too. It was interesting to still see Mackenzie show up. I use to like the relationship Maci had with them but now it seems like she has no communication with them except through the cameras.
Cheyenne and Cory, I was a fan of them since I watched them on the Challenge. After reading the other comments she seems to be on her way to the kitchen counter like Amber and the couch. She is always sitting on the counter. I think she wants to be with Cory and if he told her lets get back together she would drop everything and go.
I like Bristol and I feel bad for Dakota too. I think they have major communication issues. He really wanted to be with her but she seems done with him.
