Mask/facial?
Any recs for super congested skin? I don't know what's going on with me, I've been breaking out horribly lately and the blackheads are out of control. I'd be willing to get a facial and then try and maintain at home but I've never had a facial that was any good.
Help!

Mask/facial?
I have had facials many times I have AWFUL skin, all hormone related and anything I’ve tried doesn’t help. To be honest facials are the only thing where I can get some relief. I usually go to a reputable spa and have it done (I go to the same place) spa at St. Tropez in port Jeff sta. I get the “acne” facial recommended by the person doing it. I find it helpful I just never keep up long term. I’ve tried everything for YEARS aside from accutane and nothing works, ever...

Re: Mask/facial?
That stupid little black sugar and charcoal scrub from cvs did a pretty good job for what it is
Maybe try that? It’s prob $2/$3

Sounds like you need a facial. Look up if any places in your area do Hydrafacials. It’s done wonders for my skin. I have an excellent place in Queens if you are interested.

Re: Mask/facial?
I agree with everyone else. A good facial will get you started and then pick up some cleansers and creams that are light on your skin for upkeep. I use philosophy Purity Made Simple face wash and philosophy hope in a jar day & night cream. I also have a few masks/scrubs I do every other week from that line as well.
I had an amazing facial from this place Margaret Rose in West Islip right before summer My skin has been really good since! I have my usual monthly chin zit and even those haven't been horrific like a second chin since the facial. I am actually planning on going again now that summer is over to refresh my face.

Mask/facial?
I've never done a facial and they sound like total BS to me. I had a friend tell me that her skin was breaking out from "extractions" (barf) during her facial. Why the hell would you want to make your skin break out?
A good friend of mine is a plastic surgeon and he says just use a basic face wash, any cheap moisturizer and sun screen from the drug store. Everything else is a crock.

I feel like a good multi level facial will give you the boost you need, especially if your pores are clogged. I personally never broke out from extractions, and I used to get facials 2x /year

I have been using tee tree oil facial cleanser, toner and mask from the Body Shop and it is amazing!! Try it, it’s not expensive with a coupon code and you can pick it up in store! It really works!
