Walking Dead - anyone still watch? Spoilers

So - despite last season being one of the worst, i'm still a big fan of this show. I'm sad that they've gone downhill, but I am sticking with it as long as i can!

Did anyone watch Rick's last episode - and if so.. thoughts on the way it ended?
I was NOT happy with that, thought it was a cheap way to get people to watch the new content and honestly cheapened his departure IMO

And did anyone else hear that Maggie has already left the show? Her last episode was 2 weeks ago (Rick's last episode) and she isn't coming back.
Apparently its a contract thing, and she is on a new show now. They're hinting she's not entirely done, but not sure if that means she'll be on the new additional content that AMC is putting out now.. or if she'll pop up sometime

But i'm disappointed that they haven't addressed it yet, and curious to see how they do!

I've been dissappointed for a while but sticking it out. I'm upset that they hyped his last show. I would have just loved a good departure without warning. So many other ways it could have been done in my opinion. I've been over Maggie for a while. She is a B#$$h. I'll reserve my opinion to see where it goes. It def needs a revitalization. There have been so many time jumps and I hate that as well. The beginning of this season was a 2 year time jump and now we have a 5 year jump. It's just not necessary.

I still watch it and will watch till the end. I think how they handled Rick's departure was very good. I love Judith and how her character is growing. I am very excited to see how the show goes forward.

Yes, still watch and love the show despite some weeks or even seasons not being up to par. Full on geek that goes to Walker Stalker too.

I wasn't excited how they did Rick's departure. I honestly would have preferred he just died but of course I'll watch the movies to see how his story continues because I am a fan of the show and am curious to see what is going to happen with him.

I am excited about Judith and to see how the show moves forward. I think shaking things up a bit is just what it needed.

I guess Michonne was pregnant. Surprised to see the little boy.

Good riddens to Maggie. Never really liked her character; and now she has become Mega B***H. Her son is cute though.



Did Carol and Ezekiel have that boy together? Isn't he the same boy that Morgan taught how to use the sword?

I was also surprised to see Rosita and the priest. Not sure how I feel about that?

From Talking Dead after Rick’s last episode - Rick is alive and they’re going to continue his story in AMC movies and other media. They’re doing a whole campaign of other groups and locations. Seems like they’re watering down the franchise. Maybe they figured Fear the Walking Dead is doing well and people want to see more spin offs, but I think they’re going to hit a saturation point.

I think they should have ended it when the actor who plays Rick decided to not come back. I think the show is dragging out now.

So, I actually really enjoyed the last 2 episodes showing the time jump and how the 3 communities had progressed after Rick 'died'.

They really did a good job of keeping it exciting and teasing enough about things that had happened in that 6 year time jump (the scars that Michonne and Daryl have, why everyone hates Michonne, why Maggie left etc) and now with this last episode before the holiday break, i'm really looking forward to it!

RIP to the character that got killed off this week though - i really liked him and am sad to see him go. Again, the moral compass always gets killed on this show!

I'm really curious how these Whisperers are going to affect the groups too
and how the new people are going to integrate in with the show as well
