Speaking of sacraments
I need a restaurant for dds baptism-it’s going to be combined with her cousins on the same day, and we need a restaurant for 20 people after (15 adults 6 kids)
Parameters:
No Italian Private room for kids to run around Eastern Nassau-20 minute radius of massapequa Good food Prefer no catering halls
We had our older children’s luncheon at market bistro, but it’s not private and with other diners there the kids can’t really move around

Library Cafe Farmingdale? I think they have a private upstairs loft area that could accommodate your group

Re: Speaking of sacraments
I went to the Wantagh Inn for a party and I really liked the food. That was years ago, though. It‘s worth checking out. I would also take a walk along Park Blvd in Mspq Park town and check out some of the places there. They have a few cool places and you can ask around.

Morning Rose Cafe will close the restaurant at certain times. I think Jam in Massapequa will, too and long as it’s after the brunch/lunch rush.
Big Daddy’s does parties but not sure if they partition off part of the restaurant.

I don’t have a suggestion but you might have a hard time finding a private space for 15 adults when most have a minimum of 25. I have found it’s best to book a place 2-3 weeks before because at that point they rather something than an empty room.

Same We were only having 17 people give or take and we couldn't get a private room for that number
We ended up doing a platform area in a restaurant- but even that had another party in it- but it just off the main floor of the restaurant- and ordering off the regular lunch menu. (they did offer a party menu even that small a group, but I didn't want to limit people to 3 entree choices, etc)

Re: Speaking of sacraments
I went to a bridal shower at Puglia's Italian Steakhouse in Seaford where they had a brunch buffet and it was delicious!

Morning Rose might do 3pm but not sure. Similar type restaurant but I like the food at Morning Rose better (I could eat their berry jam with a spoon).

They’re fantastic! I wonder if they have a liquor license?

They do not. They might let you BYOB. I would call at a weird time, like first thing in the morning or around when they close so they have time to discuss.

I’m 99% sure Thom Thom in Wantagh has an upstairs private room. And they have great food!

Try George Martins in RVC. They have 2 separate rooms and they are very accommodating.

Re: Speaking of sacraments
Not sure if Sayville is too far but the Sayville Inn has a private building behind the main restaurant. It's super charming. They have a bar (and will provide a bartender) and they have a fenced in outdoor space and will put out cornhole for you!! Super reasonably priced.

Re: Speaking of sacraments
If you are up for family style Asian Jani in Hicksville has a small private room that fits your needs. The food is reasonable and excellent. We have a smaller group as well and we did both my son's baptism and communion parties there.

Churrasqueria Carvalhos in Bellmore... I think they have a private room. Alittle further away but amazing with a small room, no minimum # is Frank's Steaks in RVC Best Food!
I thought Peppercorns in Hicksville was nice. Yes, it had a private room.
