Open House for Preschool
I know this is a silly question but I'm honestly not sure and need someone to tell me yes or no lol. DH and I are going to a few different open houses next weekend to find a preschool for DS. Do parents usually bring their child to them to the open houses? My parents are around so they can watch him while we go, but I wasn't sure if we should take him with us. Thanks

I would love to hear the answer to this too. We're planning to go to one this weekend, but don't have grandparents around to watch the kid, so I was trying to decide if we should take him or just look at the school another time.

Open House for Preschool
I always brought my kids. It was very helpful to watch the staff interact with them. It also helps get the kids excited about going.

Open House for Preschool
I always brought my DD. I wanted to see her reaction to each school.

Re: Open House for Preschool
I’ve always brought them. I think it’s expected they’ll be there usually. It’s good to see how they react to it also.

Re: Open House for Preschool
I always asked. We saw 2 schools that said to bring him and 2 schools that said only parents. So just to be certain, I would ask

Re: Open House for Preschool
I left my dd at home because she’s a clinger and I wanted to have a clear head when asking questions/hearing the info. It would be way too distracting if I was also trying to keep an eye out on her (or have her whining, hanging on me or whatever the case may be)

Re: Open House for Preschool
I was wondering the same!! We have one scheduled for next week, more a formality really since I went to this school, my brother and sister went there, and my sister works there now. But they asked me to come in so I said sure.
