Best eye liner pencil

I stink at liquid so use a pencil, but I haven't found any I LOVE.
My friend talked me into her Younique liquid, pencil and it dried out too fast and hard to put on.
Looking for something that goes on smooth and doesn't look dull or get in the corners.

I do have the Loreal one I use the most that I like, but I don't find it so smooth.


ETA - I always only buy black too. Is there another color worth buying. I have hazel blue eyes.

I have tried soooo many eyeliners...my top ones for now are:

MAC Pro longwear pencil
Urban Decay 24/7
Sephora Collection 12 hr

There are so many more I want to try...I am determined to find the perfect one.

Also, about the color - some may disagree, but i find black to be very harsh against most skin tones and it will make the eyes look smaller than they actually are.

Unless its like a special occasion and you want to go for a dark smokey eye, I would say stick to browns for daily makeup, its softer and more flattering and will definitely make a blue/hazel eye standout more.

Pat McGrath dual ended eye marker is awesome. It goes on super easy and I have total control over it so I don't end up looking like a raccoon.

I just got an eyeliner pencil with a self sharpening tip from Sephora. It’s by smashbox and it’s a kohl liner, whatever that means. It was $21 and I’m sure with a self sharpening tip it’ll be gone in a few weeks but it stays on pretty well.

Funny that you’re talking about colors- I have olive skin, dark brown hair and eyes and I was going to get the wine color but I figured for $21 I’d better get a classic and if I like the liner enough I’ll get another one lol

Marc Jacobs gel is amazing. I have blue eyes and wear a bronze color. Doesn't budge.

I like the Ulta brand gel eyeliner. I have brown eyes and have 3 different colors (dark brown/black, brown and a charcoal).

Urban decay 24/7 is my favorite. I also have hazel green eyes and black never works for me. My favorite colors from this line are whiskey (brown), empire (purple), sabbath (navy).

My favorite was discontinued, Clinique Skinny Stick.
I have greenish / bluish hazel eyes and wear navy, purple or blue-gray liner. Black is too harsh, brown can make my eyes look red.

I am always having issues with my eye liner. I don't use liquid, not coordinated enough to do that. I just purchase a real inexpensive pencil from Ulta and I think its great. Stays on until you wash it off and doesn't smudge unless that is the look you are going for.

I love Marc Jacobs Highliner. I have blue eyes and love the colors midnight in Paris (navy blue with the slightest amount of shimmer) and ro cocoa which is brown.
