Replacement window cost
On average, those that replaced windows, how much was it per window? I was told by a place that just doing the two I want now will cost a lot more than doing a bunch more at once. I want to do two before a renovation and concentrate on the rest at a later date.

Replacement window cost
Not sure by individual but in 2015 we had 15 windows replaced (different styles and sizes) for the windows and install was 13k

Depends on vinyl vs wood.. but we just installed 7 regular windows and 1 bay window for $11k.. they are wood and made my pella.. we had the best luck with Lowe’s, pella itself came out and quoted like 24k.

We paid $9k for 6 windows 2 years ago....

we got quoted 22k from andersen for 11 replacement windows. Another company quoted us $6900. Waiting on a few other companies but it all depends on the size of the windows, whether they're custom sizes or standard, etc.

This. We did 6 windows and then 3 windows. The price of the windows differed based on size (all materials were the same).

This is correct. We went with renewal by Anderson. We have fairly large windows that are not standard size. They measure the windows to size and custom make them. It was expensive. But they replaced the 6 windows in about an hour....

Windows are a fortune. A window can cost a minimum of 250 but if you start getting into the picture windows, bays, and fancier ones... They can go right up to a couple grand to 5K.
