Grand Cascades/minerals?
Has anyone been to Grand Cascades in Jersey? Or Minerals? Thoughts?
DH and I would be going without DD. Just an overnight. I want somewhere with an on-site or walkable restaurant.
Any other suggestions welcome. Would prefer nowhere out east and definitely no city.
Thanks

What are you looking to do? Just pool, spa, a nice meal?

Just a nice meal/drinks. Maybe I’d get a facial if there was a good spa onsite.
Really, I just want to sleep past 6am.

Mohegan Sun And this is coming from someone who never gambles. Like we go there and we don't even put a dollar in a slot machine- we don't even set foot on a casino floor.
The hotel is beautiful, they just redid the spa I believe, indoor pool and hot tub, some really great restaurants and bars and some nice shops too.
I love going there and like I said we don't gamble one penny

I’ve heard it was good. I have looked into it a few times to go with girlfriends but it’s been a 2 night minimum on the weekend and it never worked out for us. My co-worker is actually going in a couple weeks with her friends.

Grand Cascades/minerals?
We went to Grand Cascades a few years ago when we did our first ever overnight without the kids. It's amazing!! We got couples massages, had a nice dinner, they have the pool, the spa that you can use all day when you book a massage. They had a fire pit when we went, I believe it was on a Friday night, and we roasted marshmallows and hung out by the fire. We had a suite with an outdoor fireplace. Loved it!! We've only been there once. We then went to foxwoods a few times and Mohegan sun once. We prefer Foxwoods over Mohegan.

I’ve been twice and it’s absolutely amazing. We stay in grand Cascades. It’s very high class. Pool is gorgeous and there’s a ton of activities.

Went to Minerals a few weeks ago. Loved it. The pool was great had one you could swim outside to. Waterfalls in the pool and hot tubs.

Re: Grand Cascades/minerals?
We went and took our son when he was 2. There were other kids in the pool, although not too many. We ate at the restaurant with him. It was nice to get away for those 2 days.

I’ve never brought my kids, but there were some in the pool. There are also tons of seasonal activities so it may be worth it to research.
