Paper Shredding
Where can I go and actually shred the paper myself or seen it done right in front of me? Purging the house and have about 4 boxes worth that I cannot be bothered sending through our mini shreder.
I do not trust to leave it somewhere. I want to do it with my own hands or see it done in front of me

Paper Shredding
Check your library. They usually have a shredding day once or twice a year.

My real estate company is doing our 6th Annual Shred-a-Thon over the next couple of weekends. It's one of our community give backs.
This Saturday, April 13, you could go to Signature Premier Properties in:
Smithtown: 7 W. Main St. from 9-11 am
or
Northport: 172 Main St. from 12-2 pm
If you are further west, on Saturday, April 27, other offices are hosting Shred-A-Thon events. You could go to Signature in -
Garden City - 730 Franklin Ave from 9-11 am
or
Rockville Centre - 75 Seaman Ave. from 12-2 pm
or
Babylon - 126 W. Main St. from 3:30-5:30
All documents will be shredded in a professional Mobile Shredding Truck while you watch, and then they are recycled. You don't need to remove paper clips or staples.
Refreshments will be served!

Paper Shredding
I feel your pain. I have been holding off and the past 2 weeks I have been getting rid of papers that needed to be shredded for a long time.
I got rid of 2 big black garbage bags and I didn't make a dent in the piles I have.
