Stove no longer heats up completely after kitchen reno

I am in the middle of a kitchen renovation. We had a stove we bought about four years ago so we didn't replace it. It was put back in place and now it doesn't completely heat up. It only heats up a certain amount and never gets above pre heat. The stove top too. I'm not sure what to do, call someone in or buy a new one. The stove was just moved over a few inches from where it used to be. Has this happened to anyone?

Is it gas or electric?

Electric

Maybe a wire got loose in the move?
May be worth having it checked out by a repairman before buying a whole new stove

If the entire stove top and oven is not heating properly, it has something to do with the electricity source or wiring. The entire appliance rarely goes at once.

And you were right! It was electrical. I thought somehow too. Thanks.
