Dress for wedding
Is this a nice dress for a summer wedding or is it going to make a semi plus size person look like a house??

Re: Dress for wedding
I think it’s perfect for a wedding & it looks like a flattering cut too.

I love it! I think that sharkbite hem is flattering, and the pattern is simple

Re: Dress for wedding
i think it depends on where you carry your weight. it would make me look severely pregnant since all my weight is in my belly.
you may be able to get away with it if you have fuller hips but a flat stomach.
it's also a little MOB to me.

I agree with this. For me personally, I have a large chest, so the whole dress would probably stick out at the chest and then stay sticking out at the belly area because of the material.

I think it’s pretty but agree about body type. I have a big chest and even when I was 21 and in a size 0 I couldn’t wear anything flowy because yes, I looked like I was wearing a tent.

Not a fan, I also don't think I would do navy for a summer wedding.

I agree- I feel like it's not summery at all- more for fall or winter. It also looks like for an older woman to be honest. Matronly

Re: Dress for wedding
I'm plus size, and on me, I think that dress would do the weird poof thing at the stomach and look like a tent. I also don't love it for summer...it looks heavy.

See, I actually don’t mind navy for summer. I would add bright accessories- coral or jade green. Maybe even yellow.
I know we always think sleeveless for summer but I know a lot of people who are very self conscious about their arms (myself included) so I totally get wanting sleeves.

It's summery fabric, and navy is a nice alternative to back with nude shoes and the right accessories?
