Lumber Liquidators
Anyone use them for wood floors? Looking for experiences with them...good bad or ugly.
Did you use an installer they recommended?
Any reviews or experiences are appreciated.

Lumber Liquidators
We used Lumber Liquidators to buy our bamboo floors bc they were much more reasonable. We did not use them to install and had our contractor install the floors. But, they delivered on time and the correct amount was there as well. 4 years later and our floors still look great. We have them upstairs in our BRs, and not in the main living area, if that makes a difference. You cannot use a steamer on these floors as it will damage them, so I use a damp mop and bucket when I clean them.

Re: Lumber Liquidators
We used them about 10 years ago - the floors have held up very well. We used our own guy to install. I do not remember his name sorry.

Re: Lumber Liquidators
Thank you. If anyone has a good installer they can recommend in Suffolk county as well, I'd appreciate the info. I hate hiring people to do work blind.

Re: Lumber Liquidators
No advice on them, but check out Floor & Decor in Farmingdale. We ordered our basement floor there and loved the huge selection. Prices were very reasonable, too.

Also check Long Island Paneling. They have a large selection of wood and vinyl flooring.

I agree, LI Paneling has a big selection and will let you take a few boards home to see the flooring in your space. I bought my flooring there and had it installed by Dynomite Floors: 631-318-0303. They’re based in Commack and the owner, Mike, is great to deal with

Re: Lumber Liquidators
I thought they were incredible to deal with for purchases and returns. Wonderful actually.
But for installation - look elsewhere - even THEY told me that. Their cost for installation is insanity.

I agree on Long Island Paneling. I just got 520 sqft of Vinyl plank from my basement from them. Great selection of high quality products.
From the quality side, I've heard less than good things about lumber liquidators quality but haven't experienced it first hand
