Buying contact lenses
I usually order online but did not realize I will be out of contacts by Saturday. I got an appointment with the dr I see every year for Friday. I don't want to see anybody else as I have very problem eyes and she takes so much time with me. 1800 contacts doesn't deliver on weekends even if I over night. Does anyone buy theirs somewhere, a dr's office that has a huge supply so I can get through the weekend?

Buying contact lenses
If you have a current prescription you can go to Costco.

I will have one Friday. Do they carry lots in stock? I am not a member there also.

It depends on your prescription. I buy at Costco too but they don't have mine in stock, they have to be ordered. if you know that your prescription will be the same, your best bet would be to call around and see who has them (Costco, Sam's Club, or even some place like LensCrafters). I can't speak for Sam's Club or BJ's but I know at Costco they ask for your membership card to ring up the lenses but you can probably get a day pass (there's a surcharge on the cost because you're not a member).

Thanks so much. Mine are not easy to find in stock too. I use daily contacts for astigmatism. Usually my place doesn't have my exact prescription. I guess I may have to wing it and see what to do on Friday. I thought I had enough for another month or two to get by, but I only have that much for one eye. I don't know how didn't realize this.
