Painful lump in armpit?
I have a small reddish lump in my armpit. Extremely painful and a little itchy at times. I am pretty sure it’s either from using a dull razor or a new natural deodorant I started using. It’s got essential oils and is very thick. Thinking maybe a clogged hair follicle or something. Has anyone experienced this or have advice on how to get rid of it? Also would you go to a regular doctor or dermatologist? I’m miserable! TIA!

Regular doc is fine. It's happened to me a few times, it sucks lol. Basically use a warm compress to dull the ache and they will probably give you an antibiotic.

Sounds like a boil from clogged oil duct or Ingrown hair follicle. Warm compress for sure and you can see either dr. Derm May be able to lance it right there. But you may not be able to get in right away
