This is so important. My pup randomly started having seizures on Father's Day. I didn't know where there was a 24 hr vet local to me. The only 2 I knew were West Islip and Plainview. I highly recommend having the number of having a 24 hr vet in your phone as well. When my dog had his second seizure, my husband called them and they walked him what to do for our dog.

Editted to add- many will help walk you through the emergency situation to get your pet stable enough to be brought in, since 911 won't help.
