Re: Any ladies here planning on going gray?
My gray is white. If it were silver, I would definitely let it grow in. That looks so strikingly beautiful. As it is, I am about 75% gray and dye my hair dark brown to cover it. I'm going to be 53. Maybe down the road I would let it grow in but would still have to do some coloring to make it look better than the white.

Re: Any ladies here planning on going gray?
At the moment I don’t plan on going grey. I also don’t want to be one of those old women with purple or unnatural colored hair.

43 and I don't color my hair... not sure I ever would. The amount of gray hair that I have is not enough to start.

Re: Any ladies here planning on going gray?
I like gray (or actually silver) on women over 60 and on young girls who do it on purpose. At my age (42) I think it would just age me too much.
My mom went lighter and lighter with her hair over the years bc she felt ridiculous dying it dark as she aged (that actually ages you as well) finally at 80, she started using that purple shampoo and went totally silver. It looks fantastic.

A friend is doing it and she looks great. She has amazing thick hair and she is dark skinned and it looks great on her. I still feel like it's not for me and I am 51.

Re: Any ladies here planning on going gray?
Luckily, I still haven't had a single gray hair on my head...don't ask me how - good genes I suppose...but there is no way I would go gray. I don't care what anyone says, it makes you look old and I don't want to look any older than I am. My joints remind me everyday how I old I am; I don't need my hair to also!

Re: Any ladies here planning on going gray?
i stopped dyeing years ago. i don't have the most beautiful grey hair but it's like stripes. some people love my hair and compliment me that it looks like highlights, some (women) criticize me and say i'm too young to have grey and it makes me look old.
i stopped dyeing because of the chemicals and upkeep. just not worth it. i tell people im happy i have hair on my head.

Anyone here considering it? Or doing it now? Considering it...
Nope, don't plan to and I will be 49 soon. I also color my hair with a drug store box type and pleased.
