Entertainment for communion - other than DJ
Hi there I’m thinking ahead to my children’s communion in May. I’m booking a party of about 35-50 ppl so not a big enough crowd for a DJ imo. But i am having 12 kids so I want some kind of entertainment. Any ideas? A magician is a possibility but I was wondering if there was anything more creative out there. Thanks!!

I hired a balloon guy (Mr. PoppinTwist) for a couple of hours and he was a huge hit with the kids and adults too!!
I also had a table with coloring pages for big and small kids and lots of crayons and colored pencils, and I got lots of bags of wiki stix which all of the kids (even the older ones) loved.
We were able to connect to the speaker system in the room too so I made an playlist on the iPad and just connected that for the party!

I'm doing the ipad into speakers thing, too. I love the idea of the wiki stix because I will have kids of all ages, too.
My friend had an amazing magician that was great for kids but hysterically funny for the adults, too. I'll get his info to share here and I might hire him, too. ours is April 25th

We did a magician - it was a big hit and also put coloring stuff and crafts on the tables for the kids.

We had a facepainter and a DJ who did a ton with the kids and adults. My friend did an illusionist and that was really cool.

When I had mine it was a similarly amount, I got a bunch of easy crafts which kept the kids busy. I like the idea of face painting but it’s one at a time, so the other kids are running around like banshees while waiting lol. I think balloon artist and magician are a good idea also.

I hired Mad Science for my son's Communion party. I had about 15 kids from 2-12 and it was a big hit!
