UTI question
For those of you who have had one, was there blood in your pee? I’m just curious since the girls I know who have had them haven’t had blood. I am fighting one now (on antibiotics) and had so much blood in my pee when it started. That was actually the first symptom and it was a bit frightening. Only reason I didn’t totally panic is because my dog pees blood when she gets them so I pretty much knew what it was lol. Thanks

UTI question
Did the drs test come back that it was a UTI? I had a lot of blood in my urine a few months ago and was treated for a UTI- unfortunately, turned out I had kidney stones.

UTI question
Yep the urine culture came back as showing the bacteria that causes it and it started responding quite quickly to the antibiotic. Did you have pain or any symptoms of kidney stones at the time?

UTI question
Besides the blood in my urine just a little bit of pain in my back (kinda like dehydrated feeling).

UTI question
I used to get them and had tons of blood in my pee..my situation we different though and I had a blockage for god knows how long that turned into severe hydronephrosis and I had to have to have my right kidney removed. I do think some blood is normal but for me it would burn like hell and I was running to the bathroom every 2 seconds and nothing would really come out

Ok thank you. I mean when you google everything says it’s a symptom, but for whatever reason, no one I asked has had blood with theirs. So I was getting nervous. I really hope this one course of antibiotics does the trick.

Ok thank you. I mean when you google everything says it’s a symptom, but for whatever reason, no one I asked has had blood with theirs. So I was getting nervous. I really hope this one course of antibiotics does the trick.
Just to add: my DH was just on antibiotics and it made his urine very dark. He thought it was blood but it was side effect of antibiotic making it much darker then usual.
Also, are you just on antibiotic or did they give you those pills to numb to while you heal? Those pills can cause red/dark urine too

I just took the antibiotic. The dr recommended the cranberry Azo pills to help with the symptoms, but the symptoms improved so drastically with the antibiotic that I never got around to buying the other pills. Yes my friend said they make your urine orange!!
