Thats the one I'm leaning towards. I have a gift certificate for net a porter, so I'm limited to what they have on their site, but I do love that one, there's also a black on black version that I thought was pretty cool too. I like this one too but you can't use it as just a clutch:

My sil got the one you showed in the link but with the tassel, I love the tassel look. I love it both with and without the tassel.

I agree. I’m sorry. I jumped right on. Didn’t mean to take the fun out of it for ya. Like I said - if I had to choose and wasn’t a weirdo about super nice stuff - that Chanel would be my choice for sure
it's soooo true. people just have to be so negative and force their opinions on you.
I have a Gucci bag my mother bought me that I use every day actually and I have an MK wallet that I'd like to match one day

I agree with the other posters. I couldnt afford a bag like that. Id rather have more options and not worry about ruining something. BUT if i was rich I would go with the Chanel Classic Medium. It is a beautiful bag! (love how connie britton wears it in almost every episode of dirty john)

I love all of Stella McCartney’s bags, especially the reversible Falabella tote. And the Falabella fold over tote. IDK if those are considered a ‘luxury’ bag, but for me they would be. Maybe one day I’ll treat myself :)
I do like how a lot of these high end bags look (minus monogrammed ones, those aren’t my vibe) and especially how they feel - some are like butter, they’re so soft. But not wearing leather means that the majority of them are completely off the table for me personally.

I was gifted the Gucci Dionysus Wallet on a chain for Christmas. I am obsessed!! It’s so roomy I can fit my iPhone8plus inside, which I can’t do with my Chanel Wallet on a chain. I love that I can tuck in the chain and it becomes a clutch.
I have a Chanel classic flap bag size medium for 3 years now. I love that I can dress it up or down, I wear it whenever I have a special occasion. It’s a classic and I can’t wait to give it to my daughter one day.
One day I would love to buy a Chanel jumbo flap bag but at 6k it’s a bit ridiculous. I would consider buying it second hand if I ever came across one and the price was right.
Some people like to have a closet full of clothes, I like to have a closet with a few quality bags. To each their own!

Ill play. I have a few high end bags/shoes, and honestly i love them.
The top of my list right now (once I’m done having kids who take over my bags):
Dolce and Gabana Sicily in Black
Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis
I would love a Chanel bag, but I’m planning on investing in a pair of ballet flats first.

I'm someone who loves handbags. Drives me DH crazy. I have the most of LV, Gucci and Fendi. I use my LV Neverfull GM in Damier Ebene basically everyday. Especially now that I'm a mom--I fit so much sh!t in there lol. I've used it almost daily for at least 5 years and it still looks brand new. I am not easy on my bags so I like that it holds up.
As far as wishlist...
-Chanel classic quilted bag in basically every color lol

I’m right there with you with my bag addiction and collection lol. I have the same neverfull as you and have been using it daily for at least 6 years - I think it’s been more like 8 years actually. The straps are peeling a little - maybe time for a new one soon  I’ve been wanting a monogram neverfull with my initials lately too!

Went to London for my 10 year anniversary and picked up the Gucci Marmont Matelasse medium in the dusty pink color. Loving how it can be used casually and dressed up.

I love bags -this is a great thread! I've been using my LV Neverfull GM bag for over a year and I'm ready for a change, but I with 2 little kids it's the easiest bag to use right now. If I could, I would go on a shopping spree in Chanel <3

If you ladies visit London or Paris, definitely consider purchasing a luxury handbag at the airport when heading back to the states. I saved around 500 dollars doing this!
It’s so hard to post pics here, but you can google the names to see what the bag looks like.
The Chanel classic in caviar is super hard to find right now since they aren’t producing them at the moment. I really wanted one but couldn’t find the one I wanted.
Next on my wishlist I’m debating between a speedy 25 or a never full. Not sure yet.
What are you ladies saving up for??
