night in the city- what to do
spending the night in the city on the 22nd- got a good hotel deal.
We don't want to spend a ton of money, but would like something to do there besides just going to dinner, seeing the windows, and seeing the tree. Thinking of maybe walking through Bryant Park... but we will be in the city pretty much all day on the 22nd so we can definitely do a few things. We are just excited to be out for the night without DD, lol, so we want to make the most of it hah

Re: night in the city- what to do
Maybe go to a museum during the day? We love the museum of natural history & recently went to The Met. If you are a NY resident then you pay what you want. They “suggest” $25 per person...but we don’t give that lol. I think we gave $20 for 2 tickets for The Met. The holiday market in Bryant park or Union Square are fun to walk around also.

Hudson Yard, The Vessel, Queensyard. I still find it so romantic to go up to the observation deck at the Empire State Building. Check out timeoutNY for some more great ideas.

Re: night in the city- what to do
Some things I've recently done are go to Serra Berra rooftop (pretty, but not AS pretty as it looks online). Neat though. It's downtown at Eataly. Ziggy Flatiron is there also (google it, it's small, and busy, but kind of neat). I've went ice skating in Central park at night, which was really nice. Even walking in the park at night was nice. I was staying at the JW right across the street though so it was close. I ate at Robert, which is at Columbus Circle with great views. The food was really amazing also! As were the drinks! On my list is "Ophelia", it's a lounge that is decorated pretty right now. The Stackery at Bryant Park has these cool Chimney dessert things, that and ice skating would be fun!

Re: night in the city- what to do
HIGHLY recommend the Top of the Rock over the Empire state building. There is more room and you have 2 levels to look out from. I felt very cramped at the Empire State Building observataory. You can walk through Central Park, go ice skating in Bryan Park., and do the shops at night.

Go to the Palace hotel ...you can get some coffee and sit in the court yard. The tree there is beautiful! The Tenement Museum is a great place to visit. Walk the Highline.

I'm going to the Palace Hotel this weekend! Their tree looks so pretty! Much prettier than Rock Center's!
