Does Syosset or Plainview have more property taxes ?

Which town has more property taxes in the long run?

I think they’re way too close to say either way. It depends on the house, how it was assessed, and if taxes have previously been grieved.

It depends upon the specific home, the upgrades you choose to make to it, the location, etc. Both communities have higher taxes. Could one home have higher taxes than another, sure.

what the others said. GENERALLY speaking though, I believe the plainview-old bethpage zoned homes have higher taxes. Again, this can vary depending on the home

You can't compare taxes between towns like that. Every house in the same town does not pay the same taxes. They both have relatively high tax rates.
