Re: Thoughts - Ban on Chap-stick
Water is a medically necessary chemical. Are kids going to need a Doctor's note to drink water next?

Re: Thoughts - Ban on Chap-stick
Is this a school policy, or just that teacher. Put the chap stick into the lunch box and have him apply it there. Some brands cause more chapped lips, so you need to be very careful on brands because you think they are helping but their ingredients actually break down lips natural barriers. The number one thing he needs to do is stop licking as that will cause the problem to get worse. Easier said than done. Also communal Vaseline sounds sooooo unsanitary.

Thoughts - Ban on Chap-stick
Thought of this post this week when my son had a local dentist come to his school and talk about good oral hygiene. They gave out “goodie bags”. Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and yup a chapstick. So 600 kids received a chapstick. Guess it’s not banned in his school

This cracks me up! So the teacher or school likes to look at kids with giant red Janice Dickenson lips? LOL! Just looking at a kid with chapped lips hurts!

I work in a school & see a good amount of children carrying this in the lunch box.
