Disney Trip - Definitely Ride Rise of the Resistance!

We just returned from a great 8 nights at Disney! We stayed at POP Century (HATED IT this time), and then extended our trip a couple of extra nights to lounge around at Beach Club (love their pool). If you are going soon, you MUST get on Rise of the Resistance! I hate Star Wars, but it was truly an amazing ride!!! Worth getting up at 5:45 am for!

Disney Trip - Definitely Ride Rise of the Resistance!

Good to know. My DS loves Star Wars!

What did you hate about POP this time? We stayed there last
August and are planning on staying there again this summer.

I want to do this on our next trip! Which will most likely be November 2021. Hopefully by then the hype will die down because I really don't want to show up at 6am for a boarding group.

It's not really comparable to anything else that I've rode there! The actual ride part you are in a ride vehicle, and going through all these rooms with interactive Star Wars stuff. It's not scary at all. There are several parts you walk through before the ride part that are so cool. I don't want to spoil it though (although I'm sure there are a million things online about it haha)

Everything, I actually wrote them a complaint email. They charged me for parking, didn't even have a car. Had to waste SO MUCH time sitting there fixing it, then it still wasn't fixed because they kept charging me. So I had to go there yet again and fix it. The food court was SLOWER than slow. AWFUL. The room was never cleaned properly. Housekeeping came so late, never left soap, left their dirty rags, didn't refill the locked conditioner, didn't clean the hair under their plastic huge shower cover thing, so we had to. Must have been from a million guests. The door in between our room was not sound proof in the slightest. We could hear the neighbors zipping their suitcases, talking, sneezing, showering. It was so awful! The Skyliner was the best part of the hotel. We did love that! I paid $250+ for our dates each night. For a value resort with crap service. We have been to Disney hotels like 30 times, and this was just awful.

As a PS to my email to Disney. They are comping me 3 nights to stay when I wish, due to the issues we had. So that's pretty good customer service. It has to be used at a value, but that's okay. Just won't be Pop!
