Maybe some good news...
Cuomo moved outdoor dining to phase 2, it was previously phase 3. He said NYC will still enter phase 1 on Monday, despite the daily protests. I feel like he is speeding things up a little bit. The camp thing SHOCKED me. I guess the mystery illness affecting children never escalated (thank goodness). He said today NY has officially beat the virus.
The three other cops were finally charged today with George Floyd's murder. I am loving all of the peaceful protests and people coming together, to support a very important cause. I hope George Floyd can be the one to finally change the system. I passed a protest earlier today, and honked and waved, and so did many others. These protesters definitely outweigh the violent looters and rioters.

Yay!! Is LI in phase 1 yet? In two weeks NJ is entering phase 2 with outside dining, salons & barbers.
We gotta hold on to any hope and have faith!

Yes we started Phase 1 last week and next week will be Phase 2.

Our dentist sent us something that they can open now for regular visits now too.
And my DH finally had his well visit at the doctor today after them pushing it out 3 times...
Each step is one step closer to normalcy.

I'm so excited to go out to eat!
I know it will be rough getting in anywhere with outdoor seating only and limited capacity at that.
But I can't wait to try!

Yesssss!!! So excited! I don't care if they put me at a table in the parking lot. As long as I don't have to cook it, or clean it up

I was JUST telling DH 5 minutes ago that one of the restaurants we frequent has a very tiny patio area and they would be smart to take over some of the parking lot and put more tables out when this happens.
Last time we went to pick up take out there people had set up their own tables and chairs in the parking lot and were eating their takeout there already.
