Jet Blue's Great Customer Service
As you all know, we just came back from Vegas and flew Jet Blue. When DH went to get our luggage off the baggage claim belt he noticed that one of the side handles were broken. Instead of saying anything to anyone at the airport, we just left and went home. Well, yesterday I wrote to JetBlue about the lugagge. A customer service rep got back to me today and told me that since I did not report it at the airport that they could not replace my luggage but they could give me a $25 travel vouchure. That is better than nothing. I guess that means that we are going on another vacation.

I love Jet Blue. They never argue with you, they always work with you. Their frequent flyer program is so reasonable. I just earned my free ticket !!! :) You need 100 points, in a year's worth of travel, which means about 4 cross country round trips.
BTW, I just got back from Vegas, as well :)

When we went to Florida the last time we got stuck on the run way. There was really bad weather and we were delayed leaving and then we sat on the runway here for about an hour and 30 minutes! Someone got on the plane and appoligized to all of us and said we would all be getting a 25.00 credit. We didnt need a voucher it was just applied to our names and our travel #.
So Mike and I have a 25.00 credit each. And really it wasnt their fault. They cant control the weather. I thought that was awesome of them since they didnt have to do anything to begin with. The next day I recieved an email saying I have 25.00 credit!

They are the greatest airline I have ever dealt with! I wish they had more than the NY flight out of Denver. We would use them for everything then.
They were one of the 4 profitable airlines, I think that says a lot. Good customer service goes a long way.

Jetblue is great for that. I had a suitcase be completely destroyed and they replaced it right on the spot. I didnt say anything at the airport but called them the minute I got to my destination and told them what happened. They told me when I got back home as soon as I get off the plane go right to customer service and a claim will already be waiting for me. They'll assist me from there.
They gave me a coleman bag that was a million times better and even though it looked small it packs so much. We took that for Vegas in April. Away for 4 days and packed both of our stuff in that one bag and still had room.
Jetblue ROCKS!!!

This happened to my DH and I back in March, but we were on Southwest! They did NOTHING for us! I was quite upset, and yes, I shouldve wrote to them! Jetblue will be our airline again! They are great!

That's what ALL customer service should be.
And other airlines who basically are an oligopoly (like a monopoly but with only a few firms) and should have had the market cornered are going bankrupt while the "new kid on the block", Jet Blue is posting profits.
All American businesses should follow the above example.

The same thing happend to us when we went on our HM via American Airlines. When we picked up our lugagge from bagagge claim when we arrived in Aruba, our brand new lugagge had grease stains on it and two rips. DH said not to say anything but I should of. We might of gotten something from them. But it is to late for that but at least Jet Blue did good.

I didn't know i could say anything so we just dealt with it. I wonder if this is an issue in Aruba. I saw other luggages too with the stains...not bad on black ones but lighter color luggage causes issues.
We always fly jet blue, except to aruba because they didn't go there so we flew continental.
