Dear mother in the waiting room..
I understand you have a newborn, thus entitling you to sit in the newborn waiting room...HOWEVER when you are the with your toddler who is hacking her lungs up all over the place...dont you belong in the sick room???
Kindly, the mom with a 3 month old baby...
Grrr...some people make me so mad....

Absolutely. And don't you love how the sick area and well area or right next to each other? I hate when people have no consideration for others when they are sick or have a sick child.

Re: Dear mother in the waiting room..
I love Julia's doctors, but they only have 1 waiting room its so annoying to go there and have to sit in the same room with kids that are sneezing and coughing, when my little baby is only there for a check up!

Re: Dear mother in the waiting room..
My pediatricans office is sick visits are downstairs well visits are upstairs. But, yes that annoys the hell out of me. I would have said either take us in now or I'm waiting outside.

Re: Dear mother in the waiting room..
Everytime she'd cough the mom would look at me and say Emma cover your mouth...
I put up the visor in the carseat...and drapped a blanket over it...blocking as many germies as I could

Re: Dear mother in the waiting room..
I love the sticker box , when the kids come out from seeing the doc they immediately want one of the stickers in the sticker box where all "well" and "sick" kids put their hands in, this box is off limits for my kids! No thanks!! Why don't offices wisen up, my doc wanrs me about the sticker box, the toy area in the well child area, and the books, she says, to come in and sit still, try not to touch anything and purell as soon as you get into your car

Really? That makes no sense. In my office they are on opposite sides of the entrance.
Some people really don't think though. Your newborn is home with your sick toddler why are you bringing him in to infect other newborns?

Re: Dear mother in the waiting room..
I used to work in a pediatricians office and some parents just don't get the concept of the well and sick rooms. I mean its not rocket science here. Some people have no consideration and just don't care.
