I know many TTC girls ask this all the time so i thought i would start this this thread.

1. What were your pre-BFP symptoms?
2. What DPO did you test and get BFP?

i had no symptoms. i was actually feeling period-like cramps for 2 days up to my BFP so i thought AF was coming. i didn't have any symptoms for the longest time. it's funny because in the 3 months before that while i was TTC, i believe that the "symptoms" i was feeling were all in my head. because once i actually WAS pregnant, i didn't have any.

i didn't test until after AF was late. i had too much disappointment in the first 2 months and i learned from my mistakes not to test too early. it wasn't good for me mentally. since i knew when AF was coming, i waited until after then to test. and that was the month i got my BFP!

1. What were your pre-BFP symptoms?

i started feeling AF cramps at 6DPO (i used OPKs and checked CM and cervical position so i knew when i O'd). i just thought AF was coming early. at 9DPO, my gums bled while brushing my teeth, which NEVER happens, and that same day, i almost threw up when i smelled something like baby formula (which normally does not bother me at all). when i almost got sick, i just knew.


2. What DPO did you test and get BFP?

i tested at 9DPO and got a BFN, and at 10DPO, i got a faint BFP.

i Well I'm not a lot of help in this dept. I did IVF so I was on a ton of meds that could have screwed with my symptoms. Anyway, before I got the BFP I had some AF type cramps and sore bbs- both of which I had every month!!

2. What DPO did you test and get BFP?

I got a super faint BFP in the evening of 9 dpo and then it was a little darker 10 dpo (so DH could actually see something )

I didn't keep track of my days so I didn't know when I O'ed.

Only symptom I had was that I would gag when I brushed my teeth.

I tested the day before AF was due and I got my BFP.

eta - I had AF cramps for a week before so I thought AF was coming.

1-cramping that started around 5 DPO, extreme craving for salt (I woke up one morning and wanted to drink it ).
2-first tested at 12 DPO and got the line came up INSTANTLY and was dark as night.

not PG now but mine were:
serious mood swings
exhaustion
bad cramps
slight cold- like symptoms
got a BFP when i was 4 days late with AF-had tested 2 days earlier and got a BFN though

symptoms started at 5dpo with cramping, sore nipples and I was one moody bitcch!!

I tested at 7dpo and got a BFN

I then tested 24 hrs later at 8dpo and got a BFP

1) At 5DPO I absolutely positively knew I was pregnant! I felt like I was hit by a bus I was so exhausted, I had menstrual like cramping but it was waaaay too early for that in terms of AF, I was crazy, crazy hungry all day long, and I was moody and cranky which is unlike me.

2) I used the FRER HPT's......got a BFN at 9DPO, got a very, very faint BFP at 10DPO and the line got darker each day. At 12 DPO I tested positive with the digitals too.

I would say with both my pregnancies i had cramping a few days after ovulation - i always tested with First Response 5 days before my period was due - i couldn't handle the suspense!

I did IVF and had ZERO symptoms. I srsly would never have thought I was preg. if I didnt know they stuck the embryos in there. The only realy symptom I had in the beginning was food aversions/lack of desire to eat

1. What were your pre-BFP symptoms?
I really didn't have symptoms until AF was late (I was 4 days late before I got a BFP). From the day AF was late, till I got my BFP I was SO tired! I could've slept for days if give the opportunity. I had some nip soreness. I felt like AF was coming any minute. I was actually running to the bathroom 4-5 days per day b/c I thought AF had arrived....only to find nothing. I tested everyday post AF's due date, and each one came back BFN. Then, on the morning of the 4th day, I got my BFP!

ETA: I also had AF cramps for the week before I got my BFP.

2. What DPO did you test and get BFP? I have no idea what DPO I was because apparently my cycle that month was off by 4 days.

I had a lot of symptoms, before I got a BFP.
1. Sore Boobs ( more then usual)
2. Tired
3. Food aversions
4. AF Cramps. These started about 5 days before I got a BFP, and I still have them. They are a little different then normal AF cramps. They come and go all day. SOmetimes they are light and other times they are pretty strong. I also got spotting at 10 DPO. I actually thought it was AF starting.
5. Dizzy Spells.

I tested at 14 DPO, or at least I think. My cycles are long and all over the place. My cycle was either 36-38 days this month, and I'm positive I ovulated on day 26 (I felt it). I tested a week before I got a BFP and I got a BFN.

Had no symptoms, besides sore boobs...then missed period.
and wasn't keeping track b/c we weren't TTC officially.
I tested two days past my missed period.

I had symptoms...
my nipples felt irritated and they hurt when I took off/put on my bra,
I had CM from O until I got my BFP, I had a few pimples on my chin, I was tired at night a lot earlier than usual (like falling asleep on the couch at 8pm), and I was waking up earlier and earlier on the weekend (7am this morning in fact....argghhh).

2. What DPO did you test and get BFP?

11DPO on 2 digital CBE tests.

My only symptom was clumsiness! Both times I was pregnant, I spilled my coffee all over my desk. It definately was a sign for me.

I don't test until I am late by a couple of days- I hate seeing the BFN.

Weird cramping at about 3 or 4 DPO, my nipples became "puffy"

This happened both times I got my BFP!

I tested at 9 or 10 DPO and got my BFP both times!

Just a hunch 'cus DH and I didn't use protection for the first time. I think 20% of couples who don't use protection will get BFP on their first try?

I felt AF was coming but had some strange pulling sensations in my abdomen, but other than that it was totally pre AF, my boobs were on fire but they always were before AF


2. What DPO did you test and get BFP I tested 10DPO with an internet cheapy(watch out for those you have to wait like 5 mins before anything comes up on those, says so on the directions) and saw an insanely faint line, thought it was an EVAP, tested again with FMU on an internet cheapy on 11DPO again faint line, bought FRER and tested later that day and was a good line

My only pre-BFP symptom was sore boobs, which I always get before and during AF. However about the time when AF was due I had dark brown, "old blood" spotting for almost a week, thinking AF was coming. I have the spotting for 3-4 usually before the red flow each cycle. After about 6 days it just stopped and that was when I tested and got the BFP.


2. What DPO did you test and get BFP?

Well it was our first month TTC and we I had no idea when I Oed. So I test the day before the dark brown spotting usually comes for me which starts AF with the FRER test and BFN. After about 6 days I tested again and got a strong BFP! I was honestly very surprised and shock thinking AF was coming for sure.

1. I had strong AF-like cramps a few days before my BFP. I thought AF was definitely about to show up. I didn't consider it a sign then, but shortly before my BFP, I was burping a lot, which is something I rarely did. I also may have been more tired and hungry, but again, I didn't consider those to be signs at the time.

2. I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated, but I think I tested somewhere between 10 and 12 DPO. I got a veryfaint line and didn't believe it. I got another faint line the following morning. I confirmed the BFP with a digital the next day.
