Hiding my BFP
Hi there!
I apologize for my secrecy, but I am still so much in shock. I got 2 BFP’s this morning and a blood test later confirmed that I am pregnant!!
 My beta is 193 and progesterone is 26.7 (apparently anything over 20 is good). We will be keeping things on the down-low until we tell our families once we have a heartbeat. Since this and the IF board have been my home for quite some time now, I wanted to share with you ladies my symptoms (or lack thereof).
First off – I want to say (and I hope this doesn’t give me away) that I have been seeing an RE, so my TTC journey was not how I had always imagined it. Nonetheless, I will tell you that I was always skeptical when other girls said how they “swore AF was on her way”. I figured that you have to have some sort of inkling that something is different. I can tell you first hand, had I not been temping, I would never have had the guts to test this morning. I usually always waited out AF bc I couldn’t deal with the disappointment. Since my temp never went down, I figured maybe there was a chance. I have never been so nervous in my life – I was so afraid to go back into the bathroom to look. When I saw the 2 lines, I burst into tears and dropped to my knees. Nothing could ever have prepared me for the emotions I felt.
Here are my “symptoms”:
I have had AF cramps on and off for the past week, BUT this has been the case for me for as long as I can remember.
I had slightly sore boobs on and off too, but again – always the case. They usually get less sore as I get closer to AF and that is exactly what happened. Right now they are only a little sore when I touch them.
Also, I always heard of girls talking about all of this excess lotiony cm. I have cm throughout my whole cycle and it usually dries up a couple of days before AF’s arrival and then it comes back and turns to a flow. Well, I am still dry as a bone down there right now.
I did not notice myself being any more tired, hungry, peeing, etc than usual. If anything, I am the opposite. I have been jumping out of bed with my alarm as soon as it goes off, I am not finishing my meals, and only today (and it could be a coincidence that I’m noticing it) did I start urinating more frequently.
I also noticed I keep burping little burps but that could have nothing to do with anything (LOL).
Last night I started to get a sore throat – but DH is just getting over a sinus infection so perhaps that’s the cause of that.
My gums bled a little last night when I was brushing them. But this too has happened around the time of AF.
That’s really all I can say for right now. I have another beta on Friday morning and then a sono 2 weeks from there.
I’m praying that this is for real!!!!
