What happens if you pay and you end up with a miss?
I admit I didn't enlarge her photos, I just glanced.
But, if I wasn't happy with her shots and they were all horrible with no usable pics? I would expect a reshoot or refund.
Ditto

Re: All Seasons Photography
I used her for my daughter’s baptism and fell in LOVE with the teasers that were sent to me. I’m dying to get my CD!
Her pricing is beyond reasonable, she took her time, went out of her way to make sure DD was looking, made sure to find out who/what we wanted pictures of and got some really amazing pictures. There are quite a few that brought tears to my eyes and I’m glad to have those memories.
Like PP’s have said, it’s all personal preference.

Re: All Seasons Photography
I would definitely use her in the near future! I enjoy looking at her pictures and I think she does a great job! She is not a high end photographer but her pictures are more than decent. With that said....I believe she SHOULD be paid. She is working. It takes time and patience to do this and she is charging a small fee considering the traveling, the hour spent with you, and all the editing time. Plus you get the CD! Totally worth it!!! The price is right. It doesn't take long to save $75. It takes a lot longer to save $500 plus.
Not everyone would pay $500 for family photos. I am the only one of my friends and family who has/would. While they all LOVE my pictures, they would NEVERRRR spent that kind of money wether they have it or not. All Season's photography is be perfect for people like them. Decent pictures, decent price. Perfect deal!

Also- in this economy, sometimes that is what people can afford. Nobody is going to look at your Christmas card that closely and start crtiquing the quality of the photograph- if they are that shallow- I don't think I'd want them on my Xmas Card list to begin with. Hopefully they will look at the pic, smile at how cute your LO is, be glad you thought of them at the holiday season and move on. I don't pay THAT Much attention to the holiday pictures I get to even know if someone spent $500 or $75 or $0 and took the pic themselves.

I absolutely agree, in fact I was ETA in my post stating something similar.

Re: All Seasons Photography
my sister used her and the pictures weren't anything fabulous. they definitely looked nothing like the ones on her site, which I thought were nice. There are shadows all over their faces. But my sister said she was super nice and great with the kids.

Yes, bit we aren't talking about Christmas pics for the op, we are talking about once in a lifetime irreplaceable photos. If they stink, they stink. You pay for what you get and this is one group of photos I wouldn't scrimp on.

Didn't see she was looking for a newborn shoot. I did pay more for my newborn shoot too- I agree. That is once in a lifetime. I did not pay anywhere close to $500 though and I used a vendor on here. So there are better deals out there.

Meh. I don't know about that. As much as I love the pics we got of DD2 via a private photographer, I love the pics we got of DD1 as a newborn. At Target. They both are proudly displayed on my wall.

Re: All Seasons Photography
I guess there are some tough critics on here. I am not a photographer, I know nothing about technique, lighting, or any of that good stuff. I used her recently for our 3 month photos of my daughter. I was very happy with her work. We got several great shots of my daughter. She was very good and patient with my daughter and I thought she had a good eye. I thought she was very reasonable and well worth the money we spent. I would certainly use her again. While she may not have the same skill as some more experienced photographers (although I can't honestly tell) she charges way less. I guess it is all a matter of what you are looking for. Again I am not a photographer but I thought she got beautiful pictures of my daughter and she was very sweet and easy to work with.
To OP, I am way too lazy to ever post pics online (sorry) but a few of ours are on her fb page. They are some of the more recent ones she posted. If you have any specific questions, feel free to fm me. Honestly, all I was looking for was a few great shots of my dd and I definitely felt I got that.

Re: All Seasons Photography
I didn't use her for newborn shots, but did use AS for a puddle jump & their bday pics & I was very happy w/ the result. I ended up w/ a CD FULL of pics. Sure, not every one is spectacular, but I have a number I intend on blowing up & one is currently on canvas on our LR wall.
Kelly is very patient & seems to get your child to smile or be themselves in front of the camera.
I know she was having some issues w/ her website & has not been able to update it in months, but her All Seasons FB page is updated.

Re: All Seasons Photography
I've seen her pictures and i think her prices are very reasonable.
Honestly, we haven't used her yet, but do have a shoot planned for the holidays with her. Couldn't beat the price.
I've had professional pics done by other photographers, who are of a much higher caliber that i've disliked and had to have them re-shot. So even the best photographers, don't always get the best shots.
I do agree with what they others say though. Look through their portfolio and see if you like what the finished product is. And go for personal preference.
Any pictures taken by someone else is better than what i could take so definitly worth paying for.

Re: All Seasons Photography
You get what you pay for. If I was in NY I might pay to use her if she was cheap and gave all the images b/c someone else photographing my kids is usually better than me trying to do it but honestly her images are mediocre. Like I said, bottom line is you get what you pay for.

Re: All Seasons Photography
How could one say she shouldn't be paid? She is providing a service for you. If you dont like her work, then move on. I think if you USED her and came on here to comment and her work sucked or you had a personal problem/conflict with her then your point is valid. Until then, her prices are incredibly reasonable AND not to mention check some of the other vendors...the prices are way higher then hers. I personally find it offensive to the vendor mentioned to devalue her work when you didnt use her. Also, yes she is a mom on here that many talk to. I dont believe this post was fair to her at all. I said my peace and am not going into a bicker contest.
