Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
I think she look adorable! I am not a parent but I always hear parents saying that with kids sometimes you have to pick your battles, I think if my daughter want to wear what her older brothers are wearing and she is eating all of her food than I dont see a reason not to let her be happy.

My hair was always short when I was little and people always thought I was a boy (I wore my brother's clothes sometimes and was a complete tomboy).

I don't get it either, but I don't really care.
For some reason the boys who look like girls (Kate Hudson's son) bother me a lot more.

She is a 3 year old child. At this stage gender is a moot point. I LOVE the haircut! I hope she is happy. Thats all that matters.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
She is a cute kid, but, not a fan of the haircut. I can't wait for DDs hair to get longer for bows, clips, etc. I love dressing her in jeans one day and pants/pretty printed top the next. By the time she is 3, im hoping she'll be wanting dresses (princess) and all the accessories

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
I sported a similar haircut when I was that age. But my mom probably did it so it was less stylish.
And to be honest, I was a RAGING tomboy at that age, though I loved purple. In fact, a man took my mom to task in the grocery store and said "How dare you put a little boy in pink and purple!" I was also wearing my Yankee hat.
So I don't think she's going to be the next Chastity-to-Chas celeb offspring. I am a very girly girl now and have been since I was about 7.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
Since Zahara usually wears girly clothes, I assume that it IS Shiloh's choice to dress like a boy. It's not like they making all their kids wear boy clothes.
I'm not a parent, so I can't know for sure, but I *think* I'd be much more comfortable if I were to have a girl who wanted to dress like a boy as opposed to a boy who wanted to dress like a girl. I don't know why its different, but to me it just is. She is probably very strong willed and just does not want to be in dresses. The hair cut is a bit much, but who knows what transpired that resulted in that cut.
Oh, and I'm SHOCKED by how much she looks like Brad with that hair cut. It's scary how strong his genes are in her.

At 3 years old, the only way we could get my daughter to sleep in her own bed was to say if she woke up in her bed she could wear a dress.
Kids that age can have a preference for clothing.
I know a 3 year old girl who also only wore a dress if it looked like pirate clothing. She probably wants to dress like her brothers.
ITA. My daughter is almost three and DEFINITELY has an opinion about the clothes she wears. Of course, I buy, and try to encourage cute clothes that match, but she still ends up sometimes in mis-matched outfits that she puts together herself. Hey, she's only three, what is the big deal?!?

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
I would have no problem with my DD wanting to wear more boyish clothes, but I would not cut her hair like that, and DH would never either. That is just me though, but she is not my daughter so they can do whatever they want.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
I had hair like that when I was her age. At times I might have been wearing something that looked gender neutral and some strangers thought I was a boy. Growing up, I was more of a tom boy. I wasn't in to dresses....I'm still not! Oh yeah...and I like boys
I think we should chill out a bit. She's a little kid.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
She used to wear dresses! OMG she is too cute!!!!
Found this online
She looks so much like her dad, it’s shocking! The little cutie, who dad Brad has said , is obsessed with Peter Pan, and has been photographed wearing a sword, picked out all boy clothes at the Bonpoint shop in Paris.
Shiloh has only been seen in boys clothes for months, and apparently picked out acid-yellow boys jeans, shirts and scarves. So what gives with Shiloh? Is she obsessed with her older bros, Pax and Maddox or is she the ultimate daddy’s girl?
” She longs to be closer to her father and misses him when he’s away, so dressing like her makes her feel closer, to him”, believes Dr. Carole Lieberman, a Beverly Hills psychiatrist. “it could definitely be a way of emulatingher father, ” agrees Dr. Jeff Gardere, a child psychologist.

maybe they are raising her gender neutral? I applaud anyone who is strong enough to do so - i know I couldn't with my DH.

Im sorry but I am not progressive enough to raise my daughter in a gender neutral environment. I don't think its cute on her at all. I also dont think she will want a sex change either but a child that young does NOT choose her own clothing, look or hairstyle.

ugh, she is so freakin' adorable. I just heart her expression in this picture. Who knows what she'll grow up to be like. We all have scaaaaarrrryyyy child pics--I know I do. I looked like I was impoverished. I never had on shoes. My sisters had chocolate smeared all over their faces, my Mom gave us THE WORST most uneven haircuts. She's a CHILD!!!

She looks very pixie-ish. Maybe she is just a tomboy. We can't tell at this point if she will be another Chaz Bono!

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
it's terrible the way they dress her, and now cut her hair like that??!!! If I had a little girl, she would look like a GIRL! not saying pink and frilly bc I don't like that for myself, but this is insane!

well, if she's obsessed with Peter Pan I can certainly see the hair cut.
maybe Angie is totally fine primping HERSELF that she doesn't feel the need to live vicariously through her child like some moms do.
I'd rather this than the little girls on those "beauty pageant" shows.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
Am I the only one who looked at her short hair cut and thought that she might have cut it herself??
She wouldn't be the first child to try to cut their own hair amd mess up terribly. This could what had to be done to fix it.
I have a strong feeling she is going to be a knock out when she gets older. So what if she wears boys clothing now. She doesn't look like a materialistic snot like some other celebrity kids.

She has to live like a man for 1 year before the surgeons will do the full gender change operation. She is on male hormone pills and gets daily testosterone shots so her Adam's apple should be showing up any day now.

Re: For the people who thought Shiloh was always dressed like a boy...
My 2 year old totally has a preference. I have to BRIBE her to wear a dress/skirt. She wants to wear "comfy" (sweatpants) all the time. I don't fight her, cause what's the big deal. Maybe that's really how she wants to dress and her parents aren't going to force her to wear something she doesn't want to. I agree with the older brother theory. I also think that some girls are tomboys. I also believe that people with gender identity issures know at a very young age. So, who knows?
